In 2006, youth from all over Pennsylvania traveled to Harrisburg to attend the annual Youth Quest event. Prior to their trip, the youth actively participated in the statewide campaign to collect and display enough shoes to demonstrate how many people in Pennsylvania die each year from tobacco related illnesses.
In 2007, youth once again traveled back to Harrisburg where they spoke with Senators and Representatives on the importance of a tobacco-free environment. This was a very rewarding experience and we are very proud of how our youth represented the people of Greene County. |
