WIC Mom’s Shower is a community project funded, developed
and staffed by a committee of local service organizations. During
the Shower information is provided on prenatal care, nutrition,
child development and parenting to expectant women and mothers
of children under the age of two. |

| Relay for Life |

| Relay for Life is a fun filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs of your American Cancer Society. During the event, teams of people gather at schools, fairgrounds or parks and take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times. |

MAGIC |

| Net MAGIC is a basketball camp for kids, ages 6-16, sponsored by the Family Stability Community Team of MAGIC. The objective of the basketball camp is to increase self-esteem, parent/child interactions and the child's basketball skill level. The camp was started in 1999. Over the years, Net MAGIC's attendance has increased from 22 youth to 50 youth and the outcome study has shown a marked increase in all program goals. This project is a collaborative effort with various support from community agencies, such as: Community Action Southwest, WIC (Women, Infant's, and Children's) Program, Neighborhood Drug Awareness Corps, Inc., Greene County Human Services Program, Southwestern Human Services, Children and Youth Services (CYS), CYS Advisory Board, Intermediate Unit 1, Value Behavioral Health, and Southwest Regional Medical Center. |

| This two week long program is a summer camp that is dedicated to providing a typical experience for children (ages 6-18 years) who are diagnosed with autism, mental retardation, dual diagnosis and other specialized needs. Activities include field trips, special visitors, swimming and arts & crafts. |

An annual event sponsored by the Early Intervention Program where information and items promoting "Safety Tips & Strategies" are available for the families of the children that the Early Intervention Program serves in Greene County. Also distributed are materials promoting the resources and services available in other agencies. This event is free and open to the public. |
